This out the box package/syringe medical device was invented by Mr. Boris Zubry, founder of NEW WAVE MEDICAL, L.L.C..
The first company’s product is the Magnetic Plungerless Injection System (MPIS), (US PATENT # 7,255,684), that is still under development.
This hand-held magnetically actuated apparatus with the rodless piston device (chamber) has the potential to revolutionize the field of healthcare both for injections or extractions. It is designed not only for liquid injections or extractions but also for handling powder and gas chemicals and to be used in medical, food, cosmetics and consumer goods industries.
Besides the obvious use, applications and well developed and new markets throughout the world, the sealed long shelf life cartridges containing medical drugs or any other chemicals, will present new multiple advantages for the first time. Third World countries, vaccination programs, medical aid sets, sports, emergency services and the military units in the field will have an easy and safe technology with longer shelf life and absolute safety of injection. This is the ultimate pre-filled syringe so needed for the medical setting and home use.
Due to unique design and the long-lasting vacuum in the chamber, MPIS will provide the opportunity to lessen the manufacturing cost of injectable drugs (larger batch sizes and low downtime), and the cost of injection (no syringes and vials, easier S&H, and logistics) while extending shelf life of medication stored.
